  11. I recently purchased the above modem and I'm having a problem connecting with   
  12. a USR Total Control over really bad lines.  It appears that one problem is that the   
  13. Codex is transmitting at a -9db.  The front panel doesn't offer an option to change   
  14. this and I can't find a command line option to change it.
